Web3 developer hub Coinbase Cloud added a set of tools tosupport development in the Avalanche blockchain and a smart contract platform.
As part of the new support features, Coinbase Cloud uses Avalanche (AVAX) community verificationnode. This allows Avalanche network participants to deposit their AVAX tokensvia Coinbase Cloud and enable the blockchain transaction to be validated.
The integration of EthereumVirtual Machine (EVM) enables the network to benefit from Ethereum networksecurity. Tokens in corresponding EVM chains can also be tied seamlessly amongothers.
There is also the integration of AVAX with Coinbase Wallet, adigital assets wallet powered by Web3 for crypto exchange. It will also providedevelopers with the necessary documentation to run applications on the Avalanchenetwork. Coinbase Wallet added support for Solana (SOL) last week.
Coinbase Cloud will improve the Query and Transact featurefor its users. This feature allows developers to easily discover, collaborateand learn parts of the code that make up the Avalanche network. Coinbase Cloudbelieves that by providing such access, developers can "configure who canaccess node infrastructure, and deploy their nodes across four nationallocations and two cloud providers" over a limited downtime.
Coinbase Cloud is a Web3 developer support platform from theCoinbase crypto exchange launched last October.
In addition to the recent Coinbase Cloud offerings to theAVAX ecosystem, Avalanche has also begun rolling out its Bitcoin networksupport via Avalanche Bridge. Full support is expected to be completed in Q2this year.

Avalanche founder and chief executive Kevin Sekniqi summed upthe merger of BTC with Avalanche in a tweet on Wednesday, saying: "DeFi atAvalanche is about to get the most out of it."
